Certifications & Compliance

Quality at LaFlesche is a system, not a slogan. Our certifications and registrations give defence, aerospace and medtech customers confidence that every part we machine or mold meets demanding standards, and that sensitive programs are handled securely from quote to delivery.

AS9100 certified

AS9100 is the quality management standard for the aviation, space and defence industries. It builds on ISO 9001 with added requirements for product safety, configuration management, risk management and the prevention of counterfeit parts. Our certification means aerospace and defence primes can qualify LaFlesche as a supplier with confidence.

ISO 9001 certified

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for quality management. It keeps our processes documented, our results measured and our team focused on continual improvement, so you get consistent parts, order after order.

Controlled Goods Program registered

LaFlesche is registered with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. Registration allows us to examine, possess and transfer controlled goods and related technical data, and requires security assessments, a designated official and strict handling procedures.

CCIB Certified Indigenous Business

LaFlesche is an Indigenous-owned manufacturer based in Kahnawà:ke, Quebec, certified by the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB). Partnering with us helps buyers meet Indigenous procurement goals with a verified supplier, while supporting economic growth in Indigenous communities.

CMMC Level 2: implementation underway

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the U.S. Department of Defense program for protecting sensitive defence information across the supply chain. Level 2 aligns with the 110 security requirements of NIST SP 800-171 for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). LaFlesche is implementing these controls now, so our customers’ data is protected to the standard their programs require.

Made in Canada

Our CNC machining, injection molding and mold making are done in-house at our facility in Kahnawà:ke, Quebec. Domestic production means shorter supply chains, direct communication with our engineering team and full traceability.
